Gyeonggi-do has decided to dispatch ‘Southeast Market Reclamation Mission’ to increase exportation of farm products, focusing on the products that are more likely to compete in foreign markets.
To increase exportation of farm production by opening new overseas market, Gyeonggi-do has decided to carry out a market research, collect information and consult with buyers in seeking increment of exportation through new markets.
In relation to this, Gyeonggi-do is planning to hold a conference which will run from 23rd to 26th of this month in Singapore (Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam)
Gyeonggi-do will also invite buyers from nearby countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam for consultancy in exportation.
Nine business enterprises will be dispatched including OKF, which will carry out general consultation on export with the invited buyers regarding ginseng, tea, pears, processed foodstuffs, and flowering plants. Followed by this, enterprises get to have individual consultations with the buyers who have shown their interests.
Through this conference, Gyeonggi-do is planning to have an excursion trip in the distribution industries as well as carrying out a marketing survey.
Considering the market condition in Southeast Asia, products likeable to open new markets such as ginseng and processed foodstuffs will be granted an opportunity to prevail over niche markets.
