Additional Promising Minor Enterprises Selected due to the Economy

Gyeonggi-do has selected more minor enterprises in addition to the already chosen list of promising enterprises to be supported this year.
To focus on fostering small-medium enterprises with growth potential, Gyeonggi has selected enterprises every year. But on the Aug. 7, Gyeonggi has selected 29 enterprises in addition to the already chosen 200, making a total of 229 enterprises to be supported by the province.
The province has collected 548 recommendations from terminal city and district organizations and also from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. These recommendations were thoroughly screened by a judging committee of social economic professionals where 229 enterprises were finally selected to be this year’s promising enterprises.
The selected enterprises will receive various information, quality management training, granted with the Gyeonggi symbol mark, solutions to export bottlenecks, trust guarantee and financial aid for operational management and facility improvements for 5 years.
A province representative said, in addition to the systematic support in finance, information, technology, export and other support to promote the management of the 229 enterprises, these enterprises will be obtain certification and many incentives when consulting with overseas buyers.
Gyeonggi has appointed and offered various incentives to 1,817 enterprises as promising minor enterprises since ‘ 95. 817 enterprises selected since ’99 are being supported currently.
