Gyeonggi-do has surveyed the market situations in the southeast on Singapore export favorable products such as ginseng, tea, processed products and flowering plants, for 4 days, through July 23 to 26. Possible products has been introduced at export consult meetings and obtained excellent results.
Nine companies including OKF Ltd. Co., has been dispatched to the southeast. 79 people from 59 companies has participated in export consultations and 79 deals worth 2.07 million dollars and 14 export contracts worth 450 thousand dollars has been attained.
Favorable export products to increase export through market reclamation has been chosen by local market research, information gathering and talks with buyers. These products include tea products (drinks, citron tea), ginseng products (red ginseng tablets), sweets (Coco Rice Cake) and other products.
Gyeonggi-do held export business talks in Singapore and invited buyers from Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and other nearby countries.
Nine enterprises including 2 ginseng, 1 flowering plant, 1 laver, 3 produced, 1 fruit and another company, has participated in business talks.
Gyeonggi-do explained the need for an export strategy to make the most of the characteristics of Korean products. Discriminated Korean products will be introduced to the Singapore market through an active marketing strategy of participating in exhibitions, sampling parties and by sales promotions.
