Korea ranks 12th in the world for export scale, but export for per person ceased at 37th in the world. The Korea International Trade Association announced export amount per person for last year was 3,510 dollars, which increased by 7.3% from 2001.

Compared to total export scale of 160 billion dollars, export amount per person seems to be low.

Singapore has the highest export amount per citizen of 30,1603 dollars, and Hong Kong and Luxemburg follows as second and third place.

The Korea International Trade Association announced that majority of countries with high export amount per person are countries advocating opened commerce countries and that Korea should also actively confront commerce problems such as the free trade agreement.
