Payment settled on the Internet with credit card, mobile phones and telephones will now be immediately notified by e-mail, phone or SMS (short message service). 
This new notification plan only applies to credit card settlements exceeding 100,000 Won and to wired-wireless phone settlements exceeding 30,000 Won within a month or an order. 
On Oct. 21, the Fair Trade Commission announced a ‘Consumer Protection Law on Electronic Commerce’ which includes advices for corresponding industries and concrete standards of the law that has been enforced since last year.
