“King’s Icheon Rice” Chosen as Best Farm Product Brand

Through a survey among 1,000 housewives and distributors throughout Korea, ‘King’s Icheon Rice’ has been chosen as the best power brand and was awarded with the Power Brand 2003 (Prime Minister Award).
From Oct. 24 to 26, Gyeonggi-do has held a survey on 146 agricultural product brands submitted at the “2003 Farm Product Power Brand Exhibition” which is held by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF) and Agricultural and Fishery Marketing Corporation (AFMC). Survey results have narrowed down to ‘King’s Icheon Rice’, which has been honored with the Power Brand Award every year since 2001.
Highest Award (Minister of MAF) was granted to Yeoju Rice and Excellence Award to Anseong-si Rice and Ihwahoe Farm’s Pears.
The “2003 Farm Product Power Brand Exhibition” is held by MAF and AFMC, from Oct. 24 to 26 at the aT Center located in Yangjae-dong, Seoul. High quality farm product brands are displayed in for the public to see at the exhibition.
Addition events include a seminar about “Present and Future of Farm Product Brand Marketing” was held on the 3rd floor of the aT Center at 1 in the afternoon on Oct. 24, a demonstration of the farm product brand Web site (www.agribrand.com), exhibition of foreign brands, sales promotion and sampling party and much more are prepared.
Visitors are presented with samples of prized brands and various attractions such as farm produce sculpture show are prepared.
