Since 1999, the 5th Intangible Cultural Assets Festival is composed of 11 public performances including Anseong Namsadang and Goyang Songpo Homigeoli, and also 22 arts of paintings, carpentry, lacquer work and brassware.

Gyeonggi-do residents may directly participate in on-the-spot experiences such as Korean paper craft, ceramics, pottery and other cultural activities. This is a special opportunity to come in contact with the mystical and new world of art by making your very own art piece.

Gyeonggi-do has inspired the pride of people skilled and artistic in traditional culture through events like this. This event is not only the unity fair for artists and craftsmen but also for the contribution of inheriting and developing Korea’s traditional culture by arousing cultural nostalgia through the beauty of fading folk art.

Future events will proclaim the excellency and artistic soul of Korea artists and simultaneously settle as a cultural event shared with Gyeonggi-do residents.
