KOTRA (www.kotra.or.kr) is the first in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) industry to dispatch an overseas market pioneer team. From Nov. 30 to Dec. 6, the pioneer team will visit Taipei, Taiwan and Fukuoka, Japan to hold public seminars on Korea’s ERP industry and also open export consultations with local IT expert businessmen. 

This dispatch is supported by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy (MOCIE) and its purpose is to actively develop domestic ERP companies into export industrialization. 7 ERP enterprises of middle standing, including Korea Hinet and Duzon Dass, will be participating. With the support of local KOTRA Trade Centers, ERP public seminars will provide presentations on the Korean IT information status of minor enterprises and strong points of Korea’s ERP industry, by the leader of the team and also the president of Mirae Software and company status and product special qualities will also be introduced. 
Export consultations is arranged to be held with local companies appropriate of using Korean ERP solutions and subjects are local SI companies, management and information consultant exports of minor companies, ERP vendors, S/W package development and distributors. To insure substantiality of participating companies, MOCIE will hold three meetings to exchange ideas on preparing data, and consultations. 
In addition, local Trade Centers are preparing market presentations with market experts beforehand to produce excellent results on the first ERP market pioneer team. Market status and distribution structure and other information on the local ERP market will be provided to participating companies. Local IT related organizations will be visited and a plan to establish a business network and introduce an actual ERP will also be promoted through observations on local companies and collection of necessary information on Korean ERP localization.
