Korea-China IT Industrial Interchange Meeting Opens in Shanghai

The Minister of Office of Ministry for Trade, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MOFAT), has visited 상해, China for 3 days since Dec. 10. The purpose for his visit to China is to support Korean companies to advance into China’s market and also to promote the IT exchange between the two countries. 

As the interchange in IT industrial fields as increased between Korea and China various exhibitions and forums has been held. This event is managed by the MOFAT and is opened for the 3rd time ever since 2001 in Beijing. The meaning of this year’s event is more important because it is held for the first time at the center of the Chinese economy and also the origin of high-tech IT industry of China. 

About 100 businessmen from about 30 IT companies, including on-line games and mobile contents, has participated from Korea and about 350 businessmen from about 200 companies from China has participated. Starting from Dec. 11, for two days, domestic companies has held one to one business consultations and product presentations with local companies and results are expected to accelerate the economic cooperation between the two countries..
