World Ceramic Information Exhibition held in Icheon

The World Ceramic Exposition Foundation (WOCEF) has collected and arranged various exhibition material and publicity work of past biennale events and permanent exhibits since 2001 and up to last year, and plans open ‘World Ceramic Exposition Foundation Information Exhibition’ in the lobby of the Icheon World Ceramic Center. 
  
WOCEF prepared space of display and collected items for display since last December and plans to open the exhibit starting January. 
  
Collected materials are the core accomplishments from world famous exhibition and academic events and these materials will not only help the understanding of ceramic art but also is valuable as academic material. 
  
Main items to be on display are those from the very first World Ceramic Biennale that was held along with the World Ceramic Expo 2001, and also the 2nd World Ceramic Biennale held in 2003, those from 25 exhibits and 5 standing exhibitions, CD-ROMs on biennales and international ceramic workshops, and books on various ceramic art are open to the public. 
  
A glimpse of the past history of exhibitions, events and biennales can be experienced through this event and about 100 images of the history of Korean ceramic artwork, traditional Korean ovens and more can be viewed through computers installed at the exhibit site. Among items being displayed, exhibition records can be purchased at the Artshop on the 2nd floor of the Icheon World Ceramic Center.
