o April 7∼14 Gyeonggi-do Cherry Blossom Festival 

Gyeonggi-do plans to open its Government building during the flowering time of cherry blossoms, from Apr. 7 to Apr. 14. 

This year’s festival will expand night illumination section (surroundings of the front gate and roundabout way) since it is the most popular scenery. 

A special event to take pictures with the Provincial Governor, Hak-kyu Sohn, himself will be held at from 15:30~16:30 on Apr. 11 (Sun.). 

Also fifty parasol will be prepared for visitors, goods made by the handicapped will be sold, and a sampling corner to publicize livestock products will be prepared. 

As the tourism exchange with Guangdong Province is getting into stride by participating the Inter’l Tourism Fair in Guangzhou, China, many are looking forward to attain great results ahead from the “Visit Gyeonggi Year 2005”.
