The Gyeonggi Provincial Office reported that it planned to carry out an educational session for 250 honorary environmental watchers at Gyeonggi SME Support Center on December 8. 

The six-hour session will be made toward those with particular sense of mission in environmental conservation recommended by lower administrative units. 

A Gyeonggi Province official said, “The session will encourage the honorary environmental watchers to be more positively engaged in their activities in a more systematic and efficient way.” 

First launched in September 2003, the honorary environmental watchers system is designed to spread the voluntary consciousness for environmental protection.
