– Employment by Age Analysis for Different Cities and Districts – 

Gyeonggi-do made the result from the analysis of employment to age for different cities and districts public as the following. 

The analysis was run to pave the road for project. The project is designed to take demographic distribution and demand for administration service for different governing units into consideration in determining the policy direction in the future. 

More specifically, cities and/or districts with a large population between the age of 20s and 30s will focus on preparing childcare facilities, and measures to reduce the youth unemployment while expanding the existing culture and leisure facilities. Those with the aging population will give the highest priority on welfare measures for the elderly by building retirement homes and fostering “Silver Industries.” The result points out the need for creating a volunteer force network that will fully utilize trained-yet-retire workforce in local community development. 

The province will put forward more aggressive effort to provide the greater public with specialized administration services to fit the needs of the users rather than the service providers.
