Fostering Professional Agricultural HR to Lead the Era of Open Market
Gyeonggi-do announced that it would run a training program for 150 newly selected agricultural managers in Deokpyeong Education & Training Center, Icheon, between March 30 and 31.
A representative from the provincial office stated, “The training program is designed to foster professional agricultural HR in preparation for the era of open market with WTO and DDA. It is commissioned to Gyeonggi Province Federation of the Korean Advanced Farmers (Chairman Kang Woo-hyeon) that will provide the trainees with useful agricultural management information on major related policies and farming technologies. It will induce widespread of advanced farming culture and management innovation.”
Director of Gyeonggi Agricultural Bureau and a corresponding officer from the Department of Agriculture will explain about the “Major Provincial Farming Policies” and “Agricultural Land Policies,” respectively, on March 30. Special lectures on “Agricultural Management Analysis and Assessment” and “Agricultural Goods Distribution” by college professors and specialists will also take place.
A session “Fostering the Professional Agricultural HR” will explain the province’s future plan on March 31 alongside a wide range of training programs and discussions for “Health Management in Rural Areas” and “Agricultural Development.”
The province is planning to host a discussion event about cultivation (flower, fruit tree, livestock, and paddy field) with the industry experts as well as managers, producers, and distributors in the second half of 2005.
