Gyeonggi-do will participate in the International Innovation Exhibition, which is a part of the [6th Global Forum on Reinventing Government] at Seoul COEX between May 24 and 27, 2005, to make the provincial innovation accomplishments widely known. 

120 central administrative agencies, local governing entities, international organizations, conglomerates, MNCs, and public and interest groups fro 24 countries will take part in the exhibition, which will be a record-setting innovation benchmarking arena. 

The province will heighten its global image through details on innovation benchmark cases including Paju LCD Complex, LG-Phillips Plant, and Mobile Gyeonggi System as well as shortening of civil affairs processing time in Paju by 50%, preliminary civilian construction inspection in Gwacheon, and LMS of Gimpo. It will also market the World Ceramic Biennale, Visit Gyeonggi Year, and 10 biggest festivals related to tourism in the province. 

Korea is the first Asian country to house the [Global Forum on Reinventing Government]. 5,000 business CEOs from across the world and delegates from 191 UN member nations attend this world’s biggest international conference.
