– Providing free information on declared land value 

Real estate information provided by Gyeonggi Net (www.kg21.net) run by the Gyeonggi Provincial Office enjoys great popularity among local residents. In addition to updated information on declared land value, it provides information on realtor’s benchmark fees and helps people re-claim their right to the land left by their ancestors. 

It appears that people paid visits to the service on a total of 4,776,796 occasions in 2004 to get information on declared land value, compared to 1,328,922 occasions in the first quarter of this year. 

The provincial office provides the Internet-based service on the declared value of a total of 3,601,794 land parcels updated as recently as May 31. 

It is expected that the service can be provided for the entire administrative units in the province from June 10 about ten days ahead of the original schedule. 

A Gyeonggi Province official said, “We will keep on improving the service so that people can utilize a wide range of real estate information.”
