The Gyeonggido Women Hall holds the third foreign language (English, Japanese and Chinese) oral proficiency contest in commemoration of its 35th anniversary.

The event is designed to help women in the province enhance their language skills and participate in community activities more positively. This year, the event will be held on the theme of introduction of cultural events held in the province.

With those currently engaged in professional activities excepted, any unemployed woman, is eligible to attend the contest by forming a team consisting of two or more persons. Each team will be given five minutes to make dialogues concerning introduction of cultural events or festivals held in their region to a foreigner(s).

Those interested shall submit the application and the dialogue text to the Gyeonggido Women Hall between October 17 and 26.

The teams whose submitted text passes the primary screening will be invited to attend the main contest held at the auditorium of the Gyeonggido Women Hall at 10:00 a.m. on November 10. Judges will give a score based on the contents of the text, expressions, pronunciation, and manner.
