Cultural experiences for the soldiers of US Forces in Korea and local undergraduates

On July 21, Gyeonggi’s special commission for the transfer of USFK held a Culture tour event for the soldiers of USFK and the local undergraduates to understand Korean cultures and promote friendly relations.

There were 70 participants from the Camp Humphrey and Pyeontaek University for the event, provided various opportunities to experience Korean culture and build friendship such as study tour in LG Electronics Digital Park which is located in Pyeontaek, janggu and masked dance experience in Gyeonggi’s national classical music hall, folk game play, and watching Korean classical musical called Wedding.

“We were very impressed with LG Electronics Digital Park leading the future digital era for the world. Also the exciting rhythms of janggu and masked dance made us to feel Korean’s traditional life and emotion.”, one of the participants expressed.
