Be absorbed in reading! Photo exhibition of World Libraries, book exchange and many other events

To stir up people’s mind to read books, the libraries in the province have planned many events in Sep. commemorating the Month of the Book.

300 programs and events are to be enjoyed by the provincials in 62 libraries of Gyeonggi.

The World Library Photo Exhibition to be held by Seoksu Library in ahnyang(031-389-3857) from Sep. 01 to 30, having 73 photographs of the worldwide libraries such as Helshinki Library, has a great expectation from many locals. Valuable time will be provided to the children thru the ‘Injured Book Show'(Sep. 12~22) in Yongin Library(031-324-4616) and ‘Painy Book’ in Daeya Library(031-390-0780) by letting them to feel the importance of the book and the right way of using the library.

Unlike the previous events with reading essay contest, ‘let’s read’ campaign and etc., this year there are very many programs prepared to share the importance of a book and reading.

‘Book Donation Event'(Yongin Library) giving books donated by the citizens to the welfare community organizations, ‘Book Exchange Event of the Book Lovers'(Gwangmyoung Haan Library, 02-2680-2872) exchanging books each other, ‘Book Flea Market'(Paju Munsan Library, 031-940 -4382) and etc. would be the very good examples for the people to understand better about the right reading culture.

Typical book reading events such as Book Quiz Contest, Book Debate, Meeting with your favorite writer, and book therapist program are also waiting to be enjoyed by the locals.
