No more worries for a job with UCC!
– Gyeonggi to open a Job fair introducing UCC program –
Gyeonggi is opening a Job Fair introducing the UCC (User Created Contents) program to be used in the recruitment process.
Since the financial crisis, the economic growth rate and employment rate continued to stay low deriving severe stagnation in job opportunities which then leads to have a very intense competition in the employment market. Also, the labor market has been experiencing a great polarization that shows a different policy per bracket.
To remove unemployment problems in the local province and to activate the local economy, ‘2007 Grand Job Opportunity Fair’ will be held upon the sponsorship of Gyeonggi with the operation by Career Net Co. on March 12 from 10AM finishing at 5PM, held at KINTEX.
At this Fair, UCC that has been the hottest issue on the Internet from last year, will be presented for job seeking and also for recruitment process.
Job seekers, who submits an application beforehand, would be able to make their own PR film for free at the UCC Zone which will be arranged within the Fair hall. Every film made at the UCC Zone will automatically be enrolled in one of the Online Job Exhibition Site (www.openjob.or.kr) that would be open to all HR members of each company.
Any job seekers who have already made their own PR film are able to immediately enroll the film on the Online Job Exhibition or on the Career Net.
“During my visit with the Gyeonggi Foreign Company Committee at Pyeontaek to meet with Chairman Lim, Byeonghun and other executives, I have requested for an active and positive support and participation of many foreign investment companies of Gyeonggi for this Grand Fair.”, said the manager Lee, Jaechul of Employment Policy Department of Gyeonggi.
“I have been told that more than 20 companies of the Gyeonggi Foreign Company Committee will take participation into this Fair. Also, if this kind of job opening fair takes place every year, we anticipate that about 30~40 companies including Telstar Homel will participate.”, added by manager Lee.
