The Gyeonggi Youth Center established an agreement regarding exchange and cooperation with International Children’s Center NAIRAMDAL from Mongolia on the 4th.
Director T. Tuvshin of the International Children’s Center NAIRAMDAL and Director Lee Sang-kyu of the Gyeonggi Youth Center signed the Agreement at the training center located in Daebudo, Ansan City. The Mongolian delegates, who included Director T. Tuvshin, made a visit to Korea as guests of the Gyeonggi Youth Center.
Pursuant to the Agreement, the two centers will exchange a range of knowledge and information concerning training programs, training tactics, and training facilities and equipment, and will seek ways to provide better services to teenagers, through a yearly youth exchange program.
To this end, youths visiting both countries through the exchange program will be offered a variety of training and experiences, including self-development programs, challenging adventure courses, and activities to foster their research capabilities.
In particular, given that Mongolia is a landlocked country without any ocean access, the Gyeonggi Youth Center will actively offer programs to allow Mongolian youths to experience the tidal flats of the West Sea, while NAIRAMDAL, for its part, will offer Korean teens the chance to ride horses and experience the great plains that Mongolia is famous for.
The Gyeonggi Youth Center is also remodeling its accommodations, in accordance with its globalization plans.
