The first field trip to Gyeonggi Province by children of multicultural families was held on March 20.

The Gyeonggi Inoori campaign, which aims to support children of multicultural families, was launched on March 20.

The launching ceremony was held at 10 AM in the Victoria Theater in Everland (Yongin). The first phase of the campaign, which will continue until September, was announced at the ceremony.

This ceremony was attended by 280 children, designated as the first beneficiaries of the program, as well as their families and friends. Gyeonggi Governor Kim Moon-Soo and President Lim Byung-soo of the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization gave the children pep talks and accompanied them to the zoo.

During the ceremony, GS Home Shopping, the sponsor of this first trip, delivered promotion funds, and Korea University (President: Lee Ki-soo) and the Gyeonggi Provincial Government celebrated their agreement to support volunteer work.

The children and family members who spent an enjoyable day at Everland were divided into Team A (Yongin) and Team B (Paju). Team A visited the Transportation Museum, the Nam June Paik Art Center and the Gyeonggi Provincial Museum, while Team B took a trip to the English Village Paju Camp and the Heyri Art Valley. After finishing their itineraries for the day, both teams gathered in Suwon Sports Complex.

The 2nd trip will be held from March 26 to 27. Families who wish to participate in the trip can apply at the Inoori website at www.inoori.or.kr. Participation is free of charge.
