The Governor of Gyeonggi Province, Kim Moon-Soo, is heading to the US with the aim of attracting international investment to the province and stimulating trade and commerce with the US.

Governor Kim will depart from Incheon Airport on the morning of September 7, and will make efforts during his six-day visit to attract investment and stimulate commerce and trade. He will visit New York, San Francisco and LA with the aim of inducing investment from 5 global companies.  

In addition, he will visit the Gyeonggi Textile and Clothing Promotion Center in the US, which consists of 9 units of textiles and clothing export companies from Gyeonggi Province, after which he intends to work to promote the high quality of the textile and clothing industry of Gyeonggi Province. In addition, he will make a presentation that aims to inspire international confidence in Gyeonggi Province.

Along with these efforts, Governor Kim will hold an opening ceremony for the LA Trade Office of Gyeonggi Province, which has been established to stimulate trade and commerce for Gyeonggi Province. In a conference with representatives of local Korean businesses, he will discuss the current state of Korean society and the current economic crisis, which is undoubtedly affecting them.

In addition, he plans to visit a museum, a Korean school, and a marina; through these visits he hopes to expand his knowledge in many areas including construction, education and culture.
