32 Main Speakers of 2017 Global Developers Forum Revealed

The Gyeonggi Provincial Government and the Gyeonggi Content Agency have announced the main speakers and forum topics for the 2017 Global Developers Forum to be held on May 25 and 26 in KINTEX.
Under the theme of ‘Virtual to Reality,’ 32 key figures in the virtual reality and augmented reality (VR/AR) field from around the world will attend this forum to give presentations on 31 different topics.
On May 25, Dr. Lee Jae-yul, Vice Governor (Administrative Affairs 1) of Gyeonggi Province, will deliver a keynote speech on Development Potential and Future Value of VR/AR in the Fourth Industrial Revolution and VR/AR Related Policy of Gyeonggi Province for Korea, and Dr. Timothy Jung, a professor at Manchester Metropolitan University and International AR and VR Conference chairman, will deliver a global keynote speech on Business Opportunities in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The keynote speeches will be followed by presentations from the following speakers including: Peter Wilkins, founder/CEO of Emergent VR, which presented the first VR movie ‘Zero Point’ at the Sundance Film Festival; Jonathan Flesher, vice president of Baobab Studio, a VR studio of the award-winning VR animations Invasion! and Asteroids!; and Tipatat Chennavasin, co-founder and general partner of The VR Fund, the largest VR fund in the US. They will be providing different perspectives on the VR/AR industry.
On May 26, 10 lectures under the theme of ‘VR Application Technology and Manufacturing Technique’ will be given in Auditorium 1, including a lecture titled The Fourth Industrial Revolution and Virtual Reality by Dr. Won Gwang-yeon, Dean of the Graduate School of Culture Technology at KAIST, and a lecture titled Philosophy and Virtual Reality – Centered on the Logic of Sense by philosopher Kang Shin-ju on.
In Auditorium 2, more lectures under the theme of ‘VR/AR Content Service’ will also be given, including a lecture titled VR Content Market in Japan and Investment Opportunity by Shintaro Yamagami, CEO of Japan’s Colopl Next, and a lecture titled Effective VR Content Demonstration Techniques by Jung Deok-yeong, CEO of Clicked.
