The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization launches ‘Gyeonggi Tourism Rally – 100 Scenes’ event until October.

A gift-give away event is being held through which, if you submit a picture taken while visiting major tourism sites of Gyeonggi Province, you can receive a gift.

The ‘Gyeonggi Tourism Rally – 100 Scenes’  event will run from June 21 to October 31. One representative of each family can participate during that period. If one posts a picture taken in spots designated for photos during the event on the picture board of ‘ethankyou’ homepage (http://www.ethankyou.co.kr), one can receive alloted marks from 1 to 5; ranking is determined based on total marks. Photos of repeat visits to the same tourism site are not allowed.

Gifts awarded according to ranking — such as an LED TV, iPhone, and netbook, and raffle awards such as mp3 players and Icheon rice — will be presented to winners with more than 10 points, and diverse events including ‘best photo’ awards will be held through the homepage. Also, benefits will be offered to the travel agency that has attracted the largest number of tour groups for the corresponding period. Detailed information is available from the ethankyou homepage.

A related official said, “This event aims at actively attracting individual tourists and tour groups to Gyeonggi Province while facilitating the activation of the regional tourism industry business by advertising undiscovered tourism attractions.”
