Support Offered in Six Areas Including Human Resources, Judicial Affairs, Tax Affairs, and Labor

The Gyeonngi Provincial Government will support the administrative work of foreign-invested companies by selecting ten private corporations in the fields of human resources, judicial affairs, accounting and taxation, labor, finance, and patent administration.

The provincial government announced on July 14th that it would support foreign-invested companies in the areas of employment, taxation and financial affairs, and labor management through private corporations because many may lack a comprehensive understanding of the relevant Korean laws compared to domestic companies.

To this end, a selection committee comprised of civilian experts and provincial government officials will enlist ten private corporations: two each in the fields of human resources, judicial affairs, accounting and taxation, and labor as well as one in finance and one in patent administration.

To apply for selection, private corporations can submit applications along with the required documentation to the Investment Promotion Division of the Gyeonggi Provincial Government. Further information is available from the Announcement/News section of the provincial website (www.gg.go.kr).

A government official said, ¢®¡ÆThis initiative is expected to generate synergy effects because foreign-invested companies will be able to enjoy professional services at moderate expense while the private companies will have an opportunity to find potential customers and publicize their services.
