All You Need to Know about Gyeonggi Bus Services

– Twitter and e-mail support for all Gyeonggi Bus users
– Hiring of bus correspondents to improve service

Gyeonggi Province has set up a Twitter account and email address specially for the safety and convenience of bus users.

The local government announced on March 24 the opening of their new Twitter and email accounts. Now riders with suggestions, complaints, or inquiries regarding Gyeonggi buses can post a comment on Twitter (@ggbus1) or send an email to receive a real-time response..

A Gyeonggi Province official said, “The Twitter and email accounts are open to complaints, but we also welcome reviews and suggestions, or any other comments regarding Gyeonggi buses. We are also reviewing ways to reward bus drivers who are recommended by the passengers.” The local government plans to give the most recommended bus driver a governor’s citation and to reward his or her affiliate company with an incentive.

Gyeonggi Province is also recruiting bus correspondents to acquire more information about the operation. Bus correspondents will monitor buses to check whether they pick up customers at every stop  as well as overall presentability, updates on bulletin boards, the availability of emergency crash axes and fire extinguishers, and other service conditions. They will also report any cases of exceptional service and recommendations to the government.

Those who are interested in becoming a bus correspondent can apply for the job by sending an email or Twittering their name, address, Twitter account, email address, and contact number..
