Like Gazing up at Planes? How about Looking Down on the West Coast from High Up in the Sky?

– 2011 G-Global Aviation in Ansan accepting applications for a chance to fly –

Light airplanes and helicopters are for VIPs only?
Here is a chance to win a free trip in a light airplane or helicopter.

Gyeonggi Province and Ansan are accepting applicantions from those wishing to experience a ride in a lightweight aircraft. Log on to G-global Aviation on the Ansan website at www.skyexpo.or.kr and post the reasons why you are the perfect candidate for the event. The lucky winner will get to ride in a light airplane or helicopter with a professional pilot and fly over the West Coast.

– See planes and ride in one too

There are approximately ten aviation clubs in Korea, notably in Hwaseong and Danyang (Chungcheongbuk-do) where civilians can purchase rides on light aircraft. This aviation exhibition is the perfect chance to take a ride in a plane. Just apply for the event through the website and win a free trip. This is your chance to fly in the air side-by-side with a professional pilot.

– 504 Lucky Winners

Last year the event received 3,000 applications for 200 openings, recording a fifteen-to-one rate of successful application. It was by far the most popular event in the aviation exhibition. This year we have increased the number from 200 to 504, so more people can experience flying in a light aircraft. Among the 504 chosen to fly, 96 will get a chance to fly in a light aircraft while 408 will win a trip in a helicopter.

The flight experience will continue for six days from May 5 to 10 during the aviation exhibition. Each trip will last for approximately 10 minutes including time on the ground.

All people above school age are welcome to apply. Write an entry about why you deserve to win a trip along with a short self-introduction, the date you wish to fly, time, aircraft type (light aircraft or helicopter) and submit it to the aviation exhibition website.

– Registration opens twice from March 28th

Two registration periods will be held: the first from March 28th to April 6th, and the second from April 15th to 22nd. Two hundred and fifty-two people will be chosen during each period. The winners will be announced on the official website on April 11th for the first period and April 26 for the second period at 18:00 sharp.

For further information, visit G-Global Aviation on the Ansan website www.skyexpo.or.kr or call the administration office at +82-407-6655.

This is the third annual edition of G-Global Aviation in Ansan (May 5th to 10th, Ansan City). Its world-class air shows and interactive events attracted 400,000 visitors last year. This year the air show will feature the Black Eagles, the acrobatic flight team of the Korean Air Force, and professional air show teams from overseas. Over seventy programs have been prepared for children, including a zero gravity experience program and a space training program.
