The first Historical Drama Festival will take place from October 13 (Sat) to December 23 (Sun) of this year at the Korea Folk Village. Visitors to the festival can experience many exciting activities such as being in a historic television program, having their faces painted or wearing periodical costumes, the last being very popular among younger visitors.
 
The Korean Folk Village is a popular shooting location, having been used as the background for The Moon Embracing the Sun, Rooftop Prince, and Sungkyunkwan Scandal, among many other dramas.
 
The first Historic Drama Festival will feature such events as “Sneak a Peek in a Historic Shoot”, “Special Drama Exhibition”, “Historic Drama Star Singing Event”, and “Star Handprint” to name but a few.
 
The program has been devised so that the festival can be enjoyed by those who are not the biggest fans of historic television shows, offering every visitor something to enjoy.
