According to Yonhap News,
A luxurious 370-room hotel will be built in Icheon Fashion Logistics Complex being constructed in the Majang and Hobeop-myeon area, Incheon City, Gyeonggi Province.
Korea Fashion Distribution submitted a modified plan that includes the establishment of a luxurious hotel in the complex to the deliberative committee on the logistics complex and got a go-ahead to construct the hotel.
According to the modified plan, a 23,000 square meter-hotel, 113,000 square meter-shopping malls including designer brands’ outlets, 70,000 square meter-support facilities and 203,000 square meter-logistics facilities will be established in the complex.
Gyeonggi Province inked an investment memorandum of understanding with Vnesto Capital Korea and ARDO in June for the establishment of the hotel.
If completed, the hotel will boost Gyeonggi’s regional economy by creating 250 jobs and attracting foreign tourists to the eastern and southern Gyeonggi, the province expects.
