A new sea route for container ships was opened on Monday connecting the Pyeongtaek Port and Dafeng, China, according to Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Corporation.A 342 TEU-GLORY STAR will enter the Pyeongtaek Port New Container Terminal on Thursdays and leave for Dafeng on Mondays.The newly opened sea route is expected to handle about 1,000 TEUs of containers monthly, which will result in the dramatic increase of container traffic in the Pyeongtaek Port.
