Ahead of Korea Beauty Expo, which will be held in September, the interest and registration for the exhibition are heating up, showing more than three times of registrations than that of last year.
According to Gyeonggi Province, the number of registration amounts to 320 companies for 510 booths as of July 21, more than three times increase than 101 companies for 271 booths of last year. Gyeoggi Province explained that there is a possibility of closing application deadline earlier than specified date in early August, considering this trend.
One official from registered company said, “I’m impressed with large exhibition area, attracting 300 genuine buyers from abroad, and active participation by major beauty associations such as Korea Cosmetic Association. As companies which used to go abroad to participate exhibitions are returning to Korea Beauty Expo, there is a growing expectation towards it.”

In addition, on August 10, the province plans to launch a group for promotion made up of university students and start SNS marketing on Facebook, Twitter and blogs.
On July 22, Gyeonggi Province sets up the executive office of Korea Beauty Expo at KINTEX, the place to host the expo, and begin its preparation in full scale.
