Over 300 foreign buyers from 31 nations are expected to attend the 2013 Korea Beauty Expo that will take place in September, showing the promising future of the Korean beauty industry in overseas expansion.

Gyeonggi Province announced on August 11 that it will hold an export consultation conference at KINTEX Hall 1 on September 12 and 13 during the Expo.

To this end, Gyeonggi Province invited 300 overseas buyers such as beauty line merchandisers, retailer merchandisers, and beauty center marketers from 31 nations including Japan, China, Russia, and Kazakhstan. They are prime buyers with at least USD 500 thousand-$10 million in annual sales per region; and currently 224 buyers applied for participation.

In particular, Korea’s key beauty companies and overseas buyers interested in K-Beauty will join this event. Thus it is expected to be a great opportunity for Korean companies, which had had to visit overseas expositions with a lot of cost, to open up overseas markets.

2013 Korea Beauty Expo is scheduled to take place from September 12 to 15 at KINTEX, Ilsan.
