The Gyeonggi delegation with Governor Kim Moon-soo as its head confirmed the progress of business between KNR System and NanoFacture on September 28 in LA and signed an agreement to extend production plant facilities.
When the Gyeonggi delegation for investment attraction visited Seattle back in April, KNR System and NanoFacture had signed a joint venture agreement for DNA restoration system development and product commercialization.
“As people found out Gyeonggi Governor and Washington Governor attended the MOU agreement ceremony, public confidence about both companies increased, and there is an increasing number of inquiries for purchase from public institutions and DNA bio-related companies not only in the U.S. but also worldwide,” explained a staff member of NanoFacture.
Kim Myeong-hwan, CEO of KNR said that, “We are under negotiations to develop trial manufactured goods for mass production with the U.S. army criminal investigation command, and are also promoting a clinical trial contract with Mayo Clinic, one of the top three U.S. clinic hospitals,” adding that, “We had to shift back the plan to extend plant facilities in order to supply products at the right time, as we are currently discussing product contracts with leading global companies such as Johnson & Johnson.”
“When I first met KNR System and NanoFacture in Seattle back in April, I knew they would succeed as powerful companies despite its small size. I’m glad to see how their business was so successful that they are about to build a new plant in Gyeonggi Province. I hope they create many good jobs and expand to the global market based on solid technical skills. We will provide as much administrative support as possible to build the plant as planned so products can be manufactured with no difficulty,” said Governor Kim Moon-soo.
