Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation hosts the awards ceremony for the 1st Social Contribution idea Contest 
– Honorary Outstanding Award goes to “University Students Membership G-UM Housing” by a university student team

□ Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporate (CEO Choi Seung Dae) hosted the awards ceremony for the “1st Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation’s Social Contribution Idea Contest” on the 5th floor of the corporation’s conference room in the afternoon of the 18th. 

o On this day, Kim Su Man, the director of management and strategic head office of Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation, executives and employees of the Corporation and three teams who were the awardees participated in the awards ceremony on the 5th floor of the Corporation. 

□ As for the honorary outstanding award (2 million Korean Won Prize Money), it went to G-UM Housing (GICO-University student membership housing) of Mideumpot team comprised of Chae Mideum, Kim Min Su, Lee Jin Myeong, Lee Seong Su and Jung Jun Seok that proposed a university membership housing project by emphasizing the advantages of the existing social contribution program (G-Housing).  
o G-UM Housing refers to selecting the neglected classes living in inadequate living conditions within the province through NGO groups and others, and jointly executing the project that involves improving the living conditions together with the participation of Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation and the university students majoring in architecture. In the future, Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation will not only provide residential welfare projects through G-UM Housing but also provide know-how and site experiences to university students majoring in architecture in order to contribute to the fostering of regional talented students.  

□ Other than this, “Happy City, G-Sharing Marble” by Kim Eung Seok who proposed the idea of smartphone application development in order to provide consumer-oriented customized social contribution services and “Sharing happiness. Share house! Yegrina” proposed by Cho Hyeong Beom was awarded with a participation award (500,000 Korean Won prize money respectively).  
□ Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation’s social idea contest was first executed this year for remodeling of existing programs and activation of programs with subjects being provincial citizens and G-EUM Housing that has been awarded the Outstanding Award is expected to be executed by applying the social contribution program from 2014.
