Gyeonggi Province and Gyeonggi Green & Agriculture Foundation (GGAF) are holding the G Food Show 2013 from November 6 to 9 at the COEX.

The G Food Show is founded to promote excellent Gyeonggi agricultural products and specialties with the G Mark certified by the Gyeonggi Governor. This year, the 5th G Food Show will be held to promote the specialties of 15 cities and counties with various events, selling them at a much lower price than market price.

Delicious G Food offers a variety of experiences and attractions

The G Food Show 2013 is an exhibition in which Gyeonggi Province introduces its agricultural products and shares the vision of Gyeonggi agriculture with consumers. Various events will be offered such as promotional and sales events as well as experience programs.

During the period of the show, the 8th Food Week 2013 will also take place at the COEX, offering various attractions on food in all exhibition halls of the COEX.

The G Food Show is not just for the adults; it provides many programs that can be enjoyed by an entire family with children.

The exhibition also offers the Children’s G Food Cooking Class for children using Gyeonggi agricultural products, with 10 teams (groups of two) per session consisting of kindergarten and lower-grade elementary-school students on November 8 and 9.

On November 6 and 7, there will be a program making high-quality rice cakes of Gyeonggi Province and the 199 Rice Cookie Making Program for the first 25 participants.

There are also permanent programs such as a program using beans and Children’s Bean Playground with a bean pool, as well as Freshwater Fish and Animal Farm experience programs including chick hatching, feeding baby horses, milking goats, and making cheese.

A scene at G Food: get some useful information

Youth Dreams a Delicious Dream, a talk concert for young dreams in search of their own taste, will be held on November 7.

The first speaker is the comedian Oh Jong-Cheol, who turns into a communicator to talk about “Becoming an irreplaceable only one by developing your own unique area.” The second speaker is Lee Jae-gook, the writer of the musical Bachelor’s Vegetable Store, talking about “Twenties, domestic things are the best! “A click quicker than lightning! Meet the G Food Show” is a pre-registration event held to attract visitors more successfully, offering Rice Chips for the first 300 people who registered in advance via the G Food Show 2013 website(www.gfoodshow.com). The winners will be announced on the website on November 1st.

The G Food Show quiz event will be held until October 31, and 30 winners will be drawn among entries, offering gardening packages with seven tools (worth KRW 12,000) as the prize.

This is an online event in which the visitors of the exhibition review the best spots of the G Food Show 2013, introducing every inch of the exhibition hall. Visitors can post the photos and reasons why they liked the exhibition on the G Food Show website from November 6 to 13. 30 winners will be chosen by lot on November 15, who will be given Gyeonggi premium 199 Rice (4 kg).
