 University students contributing their talents to act as tutors in 12 regional child centers…

 

 Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation (CEO Choi Seung Dae) stated on the 27th in the Auditorium located on the 6th floor of Corporation that scholarship certificates were awarded to 30 university students who have been entitled to scholarships in order to contribute their talents to the Study Room of Dreams.

 

 ○ Study Room of Dreams is a social contribution project representing the Corporation’s education sector which provides three integrated programs of  Creating study spaces Supporting G-Mecenat Culture  Talent contribution to G-education to the regional child centers within the province selected through public project announcement and scheduled E valuation.

 

 

□ The Corporation funded Gyeonggi Social Welfare Joint Fund through work collaboration worth a total of 300 million Korean Won into the “Study Room of Dreams.” Through a public project announcement in September, a total of 12 regional child centers were selected as subjects of the project located in 9 localities including Namyangju and Pyeongtaek City. Approximately 400 children are accommodated in the 12 regional child centers.

 

○ The 30 university students who have been awarded with the scholarship certificates on this day to contribute their talents will act as tutors to G-education in the selected regional child centers from December to February next year and they would be contributing their abilities in various fields such as music and arts education to children and teenagers.

 

○ The Corporation is planning to award a scholarship worth 2 million Korean Won per person after the students have completed 60 hours of talent contribution.

 

□ On this day, Choi Seung Dae, the CEO of Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation said in the scholarship awarding ceremony that “The Corporation will strengthen its social contribution projects in the education field better in order to foster future human resources of the region.”

 

□ Meanwhile, the Corporation has completed the remodeling works of study spaces and improvement projects for the regional child centers in October as part of ‘Study Room of Dreams’ and it is expected to complete G-Mecenat support projects in November which provide performances and cultural experience programs which are in level with the eyes of the children.
