The Korea Equestrian Festival 2014 (KFF 2014) is taking place at Let’s Run Park Seoul (Former Seoul Race Park in Gwacheon) from June 27 to July 6.

Organized by the Korea Equestrian Federation and sponsored by Gyeonggi Province, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA), and the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (NACF), KEF 2014 is the first event of its kind led by the private sector. It features a wide variety of programs geared to make riding more accessible to the public.

Of particular note, Korea’s largest horse musical, entitled Imagine, will be presented, providing visitors with the opportunity to enjoy the integration of equestrian beauty and skills along with the diverse arts of the humans involved. A captivating performance will be presented along with various artists including vocalists, mimes, electric guitarists, drummers and dancers.

The horse riding programs are also expected to appeal to visitors, allowing them to learn about types of horses and equestrian events while offering insights for the viewing of equestrian sports. Additionally, children can try cross-country riding (pony obstacle experience).

Furthermore, various spectacles and entertainments will be offered such as the Horse Industry Pavilion, which presents the industrialized equine industry of Europe, as well as a brass band, plaster mime, b-boy performance, and laser show.

Visitors can also experience aspects of the advanced horse industry at an international symposium in which the French Equestrian Federation (FFE) and the French Equitation and Horse Institute (IFCE), an exclusive government body that oversees the horse industry in France, will participate.
