A launching ceremony for the ‘1st Ssaeng Ssaeng Rainbow Journalists’ took place on April 1. The Ssaeng Ssaeng Rainbow Journalists is a group of young journalists comprised of multicultural children; 103 children were selected for the first troupe of Ssaeng Ssaeng Rainbow Journalists. These young journalists, who come from multicultural families, will take this opportunity to learn more about Korean culture and sentiments while also sharing useful information through this activity.

A training session to help the child journalists learn news reporting and photo uploading skills was provided prior to the launching ceremony. The launching ceremony started with the introduction of guests, words of encouragement, and experiences shared by senior journalists. The child journalists were given press cards and took group photos.
