The Foundation for the World Ceramic Exposition is holding a seminar on the “Strategy for the Development of Korean Ceramics” at the Miranda Hotel in Icheon on June 19 and 20.
Many dignitaries, including Gyeonggi Provincial Governor Sohn Hak-gyu, Provincial Council Chairman Hong Yeong-gi, Former National Museum Curator Chung Yang-mo, and Myungji University Professor Yoon Yong-i, as well as local ceramic artists and students will be present at the seminar, which is expected to come up with ways to develop the ceramics-related culture and industry at the local and national level.
The seminar will be carried out according to the following schedule: On Day 1
Opening Ceremony
Opening speech by the Provincial Governor, congratulatory speech by the Provincial Council Chairman and a keynote speech by Mr. Chung Yang-mo (former National Museum Curator)
