Gyeonggi Province to host conference at Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation on November 25 and introduce Kazakhstan buyers to Korean businesses

Gyeonggi Province is recruiting businesses for an invitational medical business briefing session to help corporations in the medical industry across Gyeonggi Province expand into the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The provincial government plans to invite buyers from the medical industry across the CIS. 

From 10:00am to 6:00pm on November 25, the ‘Korea-Kazakhstan Medical Business Briefing Session’ will be held at the International Conference Room in the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation.

The session will begin with an introduction of the current state of Kazakhstan’s medical market as well as the participating businesses, and move onto one-on-one briefing sessions between medical buyers from Kazakhstan and Korean businesses. 

A total of ten guests in the pharmaceutical, medical supply, medical equipment, and cosmetics fields including officials with the National Center for Drug Expertise, Medical Devices and Medical Equipment (DARI), the Kazakhstan equivalent of Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and KAZNEX, the Kazakh equivalent of KOTRA, as well as personnel recommended by Kazmedpribor (a medical equipment and drug company), Nurkar Trade (drug company), SR-Pharmaceuticals (drug company), and Asia Beauty (cosmetics company) are expected to attend the session.

Businesses in the pharmaceutical, medical supply, medical equipment, and cosmetics field across Gyeonggi Province that wish to take part in the session can apply by email (ku1032@gg.go.kr) until November 18. 

Gyeonggi Province announced that “26 companies have applied for the ‘Korea-Kazakhstan Medical Business Briefing Session’ so far”.
