Variety of holiday events held at cultural sites, such as
Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, Goyang Cultural Center, and Bucheon Hanok Village

The
upcoming Chuseok holiday is a 5-day break (including the weekend). Families will
gather after long periods of separation to share time together and honor their
ancestors. Unfortunately, there aren’t many things to do after the ancestral ceremonies.
Never fear, however, because here are some Chuseok events and activities you
can enjoy without having to go far.

In celebration of Chuseok, the Gyeonggi Provincial Museum will hold an
event entitled “Chuseok Traditional Customs 2016”, which will offer
various activities and events for visitors, including traditional games as well
as traditional performances by professionals. The event will start at 10 a.m.
on September 17.
