The Gyeonggi Provincial Government will hold preliminary on-site consultations
for residents interested in applying for the Ddabok community public offering.
Sessions will be held from November 10 to December 15.

On-site
consultations are aimed at increasing public interest and participation in
Ddabok community groups prior the 2017 Ddabok Community Public Offering set for
January 2017.

Two
experts from the private sector will be appointed by the Ddabok Community
Support Center as Ddabokjigi (Ddabok
consultants) and visit each city and county for consultations. The appointed
consultants will determine and manage the direction and content of their own
consultation sessions.

Ddabokjigi will be selected from
among those with prior experience in Ddabok community public offerings. They
are expected to share their experience and know-how in the community project.
They will also advise potential applicants on how to prepare for the public
offering in 2017 and how to write their project proposals.

This
year
s on-site
consultation program will begin in Yangpyeong County and move on to the cities
of Yeoju, Yeoncheon, and Yongin, subsequently visiting all 31 cities and
counties in Gyeonggi Province.

Gyeonggi
Province Ddabok Community Support Center Director Ryu In-kwon said,
We have more than 1,300
preliminary applicants for the on-site consulting program.
Ryu added, We hope that more people can
join the on-site consulting sessions.

Meanwhile,
people who have not applied for the on-site consulting program in advance can
still participate in the sessions. Those interested in doing so should contact
their community representative in each city or county to ask for specific dates
and venues for consulting sessions and join the ones that suit their needs.
