Ansan Migrant Center Launches to Provide One-stop Foreign Services

The Ansan Migrants+ (Plus) Center opened on the 3rd floor of the Ansan Multicultural Support Headquarters on December 19 to provide a variety of services catering to multicultural families, foreign workers, students, and Koreans with foreign citizenship.
The center was jointly founded with government offices involved in multicultural families and foreigner policies to function as a one-stop platform in the provision of comprehensive services to multicultural families and foreigners in the region.
The joint center consists of various relevant executive offices and offers adaptation services such as common access to facilities and labor resources, counseling and translation, and civil services such as residence and employment permits.
The new center is expected to remove unnecessary bureaucracy, making one-stop services available to multicultural families and foreigners in the region who will benefit from the improved convenience.
Meanwhile, Gyeonggi Province plans to open a similar center, the ‘Yangju Multicultural Family Migrants+ (Plus) Center,’ in the Yangju Immigration Office at the end of this month.
