British YouTuber to Broadcast His 2-Day Trip to Northern Gyeonggi Province Live

Gyeonggi Province has announced that it is promoting a live global broadcast project of 2-day trips to northern Gyeonggi Province by popular British YouTuber Emil Price, who has 250,000 subscribers, with the aim of invigorateing tourism in the region.
Emil has stayed in Korea since 2014 and runs the YouTube channel “EmilTUBE” that introduces his daily life in the country and interesting parts of Korean culture. His channel is popular among both foreigners and Koreans alike for enjoyable contents such as foreigners’ thoughts about Korean “aegyo (childish cuteness)” and the reaction of a British chef who ate pork and rice soup for the first time.
Starting from participation in the Good Morning Gyeonggi Camp in Pocheon on August 25, Emil travels to northern Gyeonggi Province for two days every week for a month until September 29, and will post 13 videos of his travels on EmilTUBE.
These posts are expected to arouse interest in northern Gyeonggi Province among many people around the world who will see these videos that vividly show the region as experienced by a foreigner.

Gyeonggi Province is also holding an event for foreigners residing in Korea. On September 23, a DMZ Bicycle Tour will be held near Imjingak. Approximately 50 foreigners from the club Climbing in Korea (CIK) will participate in the event and enjoy autumn nature in the DMZ area, riding along Tongildaegyo Bridge and the Chopyeongdo Island area.
