Good Morning House

The Good Morning House in Gyeonggi Province has been transformed into an open exhibition space for everyone.
Gyeonggi Province held the opening ceremony for Nuguna Gallery at 10 am on May 17.
Nuguna Gallery, whose name means “a gallery for everyone,” is an exhibition space newly created in the Good Morning House. It is composed of three exhibition rooms built using the structure of the Good Morning House and a studio for exhibition-related programs.

Good Morning House

To celebrate the establishment of Nuguna Gallery and the first anniversary of the opening of the Good Morning House to the public, a special exhibition titled “un:locked” will be held until August 27.
In this exhibition, various artists present installation works reflecting their free viewpoints that break down walls of conventions in the former gubernatorial residence that had been veiled as a symbol of authority for 47 years.
A total of five works – “Good Morning” by No Soon-cheon, “ArtPot” by Gwon Sun-yeop, “Collective Blue” by Lee Eun-seon, “Blue sky in the Galaxy” by Park Yeo-ju, and “Rhythm” by Choi Seong-im – have been installed along the walls and courtyard of the Good Morning House for the enjoyment of visitors during the exhibition period.

Entry to the exhibition is free and docent tours are provided on the hour to help visitors better relate to the works.
The Good Morning House’s Nuguna Gallery will be used as a space for artist and amateur exhibitions – such as college graduation exhibitions, photo exhibitions, and painting exhibitions – through which all residents of Gyeonggi Province can enjoy culture from September when the current special exhibition ends.
