Hwaseong community to partake for the success of the “Public Delivery App”

The Korea Gyeonggido Company (KGC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with local communities in Hwaseong, following signings with Paju and Osan, in preparation for the success of Gyeonggi Province’s Public Delivery App (provisional name).

The other parties that signed the MoU for the promotion of the Gyeonggi-do Public Delivery App include the Hwaseong Federation of Micro Enterprise (President: Yoon Hyun-seok), the Korea Foodservice Industry Association Hwaseong Branch (President: Choi Chang-guk), and the Online Blog for Moms in Dongtan (Manager: Totoru).

This signing took place in the presence of KGC President Lee Seokhun and representatives of each participating Hwaseong community pursuing the success of the Public Delivery App.

The Hwaseong Federation of Micro Enterprise will use the app with its more than 300 business members and engage in support and promotion activities.

The Korea Foodservice Industry Association Hwaseong Branch will also enroll its 2,300 business members as affiliates of this service and promised to actively promote the app among small business owners.

The Online Blog for Moms in Dongtan, created in 2006 with over 270,000 members at present, is where the latest regional information is shared. The Public Delivery App will be actively promoted through this channel to encourage members to use the service.

Hwaseong Federation of Micro Enterprise President Yoon Hyun-seok said, “Hwaseong is a city with an abundance of factories and farmland; therefore, tailored strategies for approaching different regions are needed.” He added, “I hope the Public Delivery App will successfully grow to compete with private delivery apps.”

Korea Foodservice Industry Association Hwaseong Branch Secretary General Han Jeong-deok, speaking on behalf of President Choi Chang-guk, said, “Delivery is one of the most important services for all small business owners. In gratitude for the creation of the Public Delivery App, we will do our best to participate for the success of this project.”

The blog manager with the nickname Totoru of Online Blog for Moms in Dongtan said, “Delivery apps are frequently used by our blog members, and everyone is excited to use the Public Delivery App. I will do my best to promote the app for a successful outcome.”

A total of 1,093 Hwaseong businesses applied for affiliate memberships as of midnight, September 25. Overall, approximately 2,760 applications were received from all trial regions (Paju, Osan, and Hwaseong), achieving 92% of the initial target.
