Gyeonggi Province announced that it held the Ilsan Techno Valley Business Information Session on August 14 at COEX.

The Ilsan Techno Valley Creation Project has been jointly carried out by Gyeonggi Province, Goyang City, the Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation, and the Goyang Urban Innovation Corporation under an agreement they concluded in 2017.

At this event, Gyeonggi Province actively marketed the superior location and potential of Ilsan Techno Valley to corporate officials and venture capital investors.

Booths promoting Ilsan Techno Valley, as well as Goyang Broadcasting and Filming Valley and CJ Live City in the surrounding areas, were operated, attracting many corporate officials looking for consultations.

The event was attended by Gyeonggi Vice Governor Lee Haw-sun and Goyang Mayor Lee Jae-jun who expressed their great interest in this project.

Goyang City Mayor Lee Jae-jun emphasized the potential of Techno Valley in his presentation, saying, “Ilsan Techno Valley in Goyang has a relatively low supply price, a well-developed transportation network, an excellent location with a view of the Hangang River, and superior infrastructure around it. It will be the ideal investment area to create the future value of your companies.”

“Gyeonggi Province will actively support Ilsan Techno Valley so that it will become a new hub for the future growth of cutting-edge industries,” said Gyeonggi Province Vice Governor Lee Haw-sun.

“Many companies have received little information about the Ilsan Techno Valley project, and this session will focus our attention on the area. I hope that diverse policy support will be provided to companies that want to move into Ilsan Techno Valley,” said a company official who attended the session.
