Weekend English camp for multicultural families

The Gyeonggi Do Provincial Institute for Lifelong Learning Change Up Campus is holding a weekend English camp for multicultural families from November 18 to December 10.

FThis camp provides an opportunity for multicultural families to experience international cultural exchange and is a place for families to spend some quality time with each other. There will be a total of 4 camps for 47 participating families that will include English games in which all family members can participate.

The programs will mainly consist of: ‘Drama Class’ in English; ‘Minute to Win it’, a 60-second mission games; and a ‘Cooking Class’ for making muffins and cookies.

The president of the institute said, “We will endeavor to help offset the difficulties that multicultural families are facing in education by providing an opportunity to experience a high-quality English program.”

A total of 40 families (approximately 147 people) participated in 4 weekend English camps from June to September.
