4) Emergency Shelter for Women
The center also operates an emergency shelter for victims of violence, providing them with temporary accommodationprotection.
[CG]23,048 Cases Handledthe Gyeonggi Center This Year
Of more than 23,000 cases that have been handledthe center this year, nearly twenty thousand cases were consultations via telephone, two thousandinterviews, four hundred through on-site visitsseventeen hundred with foreign women. Concurrently, 296 womentheir 169 children used the emergency shelter.
The Gyeonggi center plans to reinforce its services through the formation of an operation network with other related organizations.

A Korean collector of Pinocchio artifacts opened the Pinocchio Museum to share the joy of hiscollection of 30 years with children. A GTV reporter was there.

The first certified gardenersin Korea were produced in Gyeonggi Province.
After months of education, the first eighty four successful graduates were presented with Citizen GardenerCertificatesthe Gyeonggi GreenAgriculture Foundation.

Another submission suggested that a ‘Dinosaur Art Festival’be held near the site of dinosaur egg fossilsin a wide open field in Hwaseong (화성) City.Largely unknown except bythe scientific community, this site isregistered as Natural Monument 414of Korea.
